A new version of 4800A clear has been developed and implemented on August 13, 2016. Why was the 4800A clear epoxy changed? We at Versatile Building Products are always looking for the newest and best coating technology available, but we also look for ways to improve on existing products. As the development of raw materials improve, our R&D team takes the time to go back to the drawing board and figure out how to utilize these raw materials. This new formula utilizes advancements in additive technology to provide fast air release, quick leveling, superior clarity, and outstanding gloss. The formulation also has a slightly lower viscosity for an easier mixing and rolling experience.
Here is what Jimmy has to say in words that we can all understand “Mike the product is a lot better. Stays clearer and less bubbles. The HD has made a difference also with the dry times and the effects we are creating. Flows really well, levels out nicely and is slightly glossier. Only negative is it being slightly thinner but that is not an Issue since it makes the product flow a lot nicer and is easier to apply. All up it is definitely a good improvement.”
