This month’s testimonial comes directly from a home owner who did an absolutely gorgeous install in his own garage using the Roll-on Rock system in ¼” Grey.

“I just wanted to follow-up with a note following my DIY installation of the Roll On Rock system this weekend. I chose the 2-car garage kit with the 5073 top coat and a grey flake and I couldn’t be happier with the overall result! I did a lot of prep-work before putting down the base layer and it really did pay off. My existing floor was in really bad shape so I chose to diamond grind the surface first leaving my surface on the more porous side. I read in the product info that a primer coat might be necessary in this situation but I figured since my garage was on the smaller side of the kit coverage (420 sqft), I’d be ok. The flake application went great, the kit included a very generous amount of flake material. I didn’t even use all of what was supplied after ensuring thorough coverage in all areas. The scraper you supplied was awesome, VERY happy I ended up buying it vs trying to rig something up with a large putty knife. After a thorough vacuum job, I mixed up just enough 5073 to cover the base walls and brushed the perimeter. I then threw on my spikes and started mixing up the remaining 5073. I poured out the thicker material first so I could take my time getting as much as possible out of the can. Definitely have to work quickly but pouring it out only a ribbon at a time worked out very well for me. Again, I’ m super happy with the end result. Hope it looks this good for many years to come!
