American Elite Epoxy specializes in commercial and residential decorative flooring in Orange County, CA and surrounding areas. Brad, the owner of American Elite Epoxy, was contacted by a homeowner with a very specific look in mind. The home owner showed him an image on social media and request that Brad and his team replicate the image.
After grinding the concrete, Brad applied two coats of 4195 Primer to prevent outgassing. Once the 2nd coat of 4195 was tacky, the Mocha pigment was mixed into 4800 HD 100% solids epoxy and applied with a Magic Trowel over the entire floor. To create depth and add a unique design, the Arctic Pearl and Black Olive pigments were mixed in by pouring ribbons of each color. The colors were mixed and back rolled using a lint free roller.
